Today at Plunge Vocational School of Technology and Business together with members of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania J. Razma, A. Stančikas, J. Varkalis, Mayor of Plungė District Municipality A. Klišonis and the community of Plungė VSTB we actively participated in the discussion on the future and importance of vocational training in the region.

The school community has been informed that efforts are under way to establish a professional innovation training center in Rietavas so during the meeting a discussion started on this matter.

The Plungė Union of Industrialists shares the opinion of the guests and the school community that no one is against the restoration of a vocational educational institution, but the question arises if this is advisable when the number of students decreases every year. Therefore, today it is essential to make important and rational decisions in the context of sustainable development of the entire region, and not to satisfy personal ambitions of some individuals by creating artificial competition in professional education.
